BA training is about learning to get requirements right, which is the major cause of IT project failures. Some organizations don’t use BA’s, but all organizations have to develop requirements for their projects. A business analyst works as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems.
